How England’s first National Rowing Museum was put together – ironically on a flood plain in Henley-on-Thames. This piece was written shortly after it officially opened in 1999.

  1. A fascinating museum with a great coffee shop we visit quite often when taking a walk in Henley.
    Also a lovely Wind in the Willows walk through for kids – Mum
